Loved shooting at Emirates Old Trafford which is the home of Lancashire County Cricket Club. This venue is huge with a great back drop on match days for anyone wanting to enjoy a bit of cricket. The Point’s enormous 7 metre windows allow unrivalled views of the whole pitch and as luck would have it it was a pretty nice day. It was so good to be able to film Jenni and Jonnys wedding as we had filmed Jenni’s brothers marriage the previous year (see Charlotte and Dan). Always nice to work with familiar faces and they have a great bunch of friends and family that made the day so special.

Also worth a mention is Ruth from Ruthless Images, she’s a real diamond and great to shoot alongside, I love her work and she has a relaxed approach which I like. Also the incredible team from Storm who did a great job of keeping the party in full flow until the late hours. I dont know what it is about Storm but they always have a great line up, and sound amazing. Always look forward to working with them.

Beautiful day at Sopwell House In St Albans for Jodie and Ariel’s wedding, this was our second visit here (see Olivia & Simeon from last year) and thoroughly enjoyed returning to this lovely part of the country once again. We had been keeping our fingers crossed all week for the weather and on the morning of their wedding things were looking a little risky! So glad though that they decided to go outdoors for the ceremony, it looked amazing and couldnt have gone any better. Sopwell House is set in 12 acres of beautiful gardens and incredibly is the former Georgian country residence of Lord Mountbatten!

On into the evening Creation provided the entertainment and it was a great party atmosphere with a full dance floor all night. It was also a pleasure working with a great photographer Steve Shipman and his lovely assistant.  Enjoy…..

We love filming at the Queens Hotel in Leeds, theres something about its grand entrance and the beautiful Ballroom that sets it apart from other hotels. This wedding was made all the more special as Rachel & Adam were such a great couple and they had the fabulous Storm perfoming in the evening who are incredible. The ballroom looked spectacular in the evening and one of the highlights for us was Rachel singing on stage towards the end of the night!!

Rachel & Adam came via recomendation as we had filmed their friends wedding earlier in the year (see Sam & Nick) at Brookfield Manor. Lots of great footage from this wedding and some really special moments. Enjoy this break from the norm highlight 🙂

Absolutely loved shooting Charlotte and Jonathans wedding in London at the Marriot Grosvenor. It followed the lovely wedding day of Simeon and Olivia who were close friends and we had ventured down south to film their day the previous week. The ceremony was held at The Western Marble Arch Synagogue just a few short steps from Oxford Street, Park Lane and Hyde Park in the centre of London. The synagogue is beautiful and has some lovely stain glass windows and great lighting, It was actually the first London Synagogue to preach sermons in English. Whilst adhering to strict orthodox principles and it has a nice contemporary feel to it.

Im glad to say we were blessed with some incredible weather again and Charlotte and Jonathan being the fun couple they are were able to enjoy a spot of table tennis in the park (I kid you not). It was particularly nice to be able to travel with Charlotte to the synagogue and experience all the pre-wedding nerves that we would normally miss out on, being able to capture this was so special. My son Simon was second shooting for me and got some lovely shots of the guys pre-ceremony when they arrived at the synagogue and to say they were in high spirits would be an understatement. Such a fun day and I have to say that Jonathan had a beaming smile all day long, clearly so happy and just taking in the moments. Enjoy

Been looking forward to shooting this lovely wedding at Sopwell House for a long time and I had done a little research before the big day and the venue looked stunning. Sopwell House has around 12 acres of gardens and is a 4 star hotel in St Albans, Hertfordshire a former Georgian country residence of Lord Mountbatten. It really is a lovely venue and very well run.

I think its fair to say we had been wishing all week long that the weather would hold out and we would be treated to a lovely outdoor ceremony and when the weekend eventually came around we werent dissapointed. It was so cool to be able to shoot Simeon and Olivias wedding especially as they had been recomended by Simeons brother and sister-in-law Alex and Lucy (see Alex & Lucy’s Highlights) who’s wedding we had filmed some years earlier. It was a wonderful ceremony and what a party afterwards!!

I think the icing on the cake for us is that we got to travel down to London the following weekend and film the wedding of Charlotte and Jonathan at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square who are very good friends of Olivia and Simeon, so a lot of familiar faces! Enjoy
