  • Welcome to my world!

Firstly, thanks for visiting our website and I hope you enjoy browsing through some of the weddings we have covered. I consider myself very fortunate to have such a great job! Filming a couple's wedding day is one of the most rewarding things one can do, and we don't take it lightly. Having traveled the length of the country I can honestly say we have been lucky enough to work in some of the most beautiful locations, but that's not the best part of what we do.

We are based in Manchester but travel extensively and the majority of our work is around London and home counties. We also offer filming throughout Europe and worldwide, so wherever your wedding takes please we can film it!! We are a small team who are passionate about our work and look forward to the challenge of new and more exciting weddings.

It's fair to say that over the years we have been lucky enough to work with some incredible couples, with their own unique stories. Most have been on an emotional journey and experiencing the joy of their wedding day with them is an incredibly enriching experience. We work hard to convey the feelings and emotions that were present on that special day through to the finished wedding film. We don't just want to document the day but produce something that will be timeless and continue to provide years of enjoyment by allowing couples to re-live one of the best days of their life.

A Beautiful Wedding at Eshott Hall

Its been a while since we ventured to Newcastle and its a gorgeous part of the country when you drive beyond the city, this Eshott Hall wedding was a real delight for us to film. Eshott Hall lies between Morpeth and Alnwick and is set within beautiful gardens and woodland in the heart of Northumberland. I say ‘set in beautiful gardens’ but that really doesn’t do it justice. We spent all day at this beautiful country house which has a small informal chapel just a short walk away and its one of the most idyllic places we have visited. We were blessed with a warm summers day and not a cloud in the sky which made this all the more special.

Getting ready and beyond

One thing I loved about this Eshott Hall wedding was its size and grandeur, its not huge but its an impressive location. The 17th century decor gives it a timeless feel and the ancient woodland that surrounds has lots of little hiding paces reminiscent of a ‘secret garden’. Sophia and Chris both got ready at Eshott Hall so it was great to be able to move seamlessly between rooms and with only a short 5 minute walk to the chapel it meant that the wedding party could walk between the two quite easily. There were a few emotions as time passed and when Chis’s mum gave such a beautiful reading there were quite a few tears. It was such a heartwarming speech and straight from the heart, no paper to read from. From that moment I knew I wanted to use some of it to tell the story.

Dinner & Dancing

After the ceremony everyone headed back to Eshott Hall and enjoyed canapes outside whilst soaking up the sun. Sophia changed into a stunning red dress just before the wedding breakfast and all the guests made their way inside. The speeches followed shortly afterwards which were a real mix of laughter and emotion bringing a tear to the eye of several on the top table. The highlight of the evening though has got to be the first dance. Chris had mentioned that he and Sophia love dancing and had choreographed a first dance, normally these range from a little embarrassing to mildly impressive but Sophia & Chris’s was just on another level. Im not an expert by any means but we do sometimes shoot dance events and theirs was the best I’ve seen for a long time. As they finished the whole room was in uproar with cheers.

The Perfect Ending

As well as the spectacular first dance they had an awesome DJ (also one of the guests) who absolutely rocked and had everyone on the dance floor. I could see it was going to be a great party. We really loved shooting Sophia and Chris’s day, they are such a cool couple and were a pleasure to work with. This Eshott Hall wedding was a day that will stand out for us well into the future as we remember the laughter the love and the DANCING!!

Manchester Town Hall Wedding

City centre weddings are awesome and this was even more so as it was so close to home. I haven’t shot at Manchester Town Hall for such a long time and it was great to be back there for Jenny & Daniels wedding. They had taken over the Great Hall which is simply stunning, I love the architecture and its just a magical setting for a wedding. This happens to be one of a number of solo shoots we have done this year and getting to grips with filming alone was quite challenging all though a little liberating at the same time. Looking back on the footage it doesn’t feel like a solo shoot and I love some of the stuff I covered on the day. I have to also mention it was great working with Stephen McGowan his work is beautiful and you can see some of his pics from the wedding by following his link.

Wedding Ceremony

I really like the smaller rooms at Manchester Town Hall, they are great for a small informal ceremony and being adjacent to the Great Hall is pretty convenient for larger parties at night. The long elaborate corridors of the Hall look beautiful and I think its one of the nicest locations for an event in the city. We have been producing wedding videos manchester now for over a decade now and we have gained a greater appreciation of what a wedding is all about. Yes its a celebration but its also a coming together of families and friends, creating a record of that is such a humbling experience and we are ever grateful for the opportunity we have been given.

The little touches

Jenny and Daniel had put such a lot of effort into the day, I really loved the little touches and quite surprisingly the very cool Ladybird book titled ‘The Husband’ which Jenny couriered to Daniel just before the wedding, how sweet. It was such a joy to put together this highlight together for lovely couple and hope you enjoy watching.

A Wedding in Harrogate

Enjoyed a welcome return when filming a wedding in Harrogate at the Old Swan Hotel. ¬†Carly & Mike’s beautiful Jewish wedding was a spectacular affair, and such a great honor for us to be able to cover the day. Having filmed their before we new what a beautiful place it was. The architecture and styling is incredible, from its revolving doors to its glass ceiling in the Wedgwood Restaurant, the Hotel exudes romance and mystery. It was to this tranquil haven that the mistress of crime-writing,¬†Agatha Christie, famously disappeared in 1926, resulting in a public furor over the 11 days that she could not be traced. The Old Swan is the perfect place for a Jewish wedding, having many large rooms and in such a welcoming part of the country. The large ballroom is a great place for a party, with high ceilings and decorative pillars, once dressed it looks quite special and is a great backdrop for the speeches.

The Wedding Day in Summary

So far this year we have been blessed with some beautiful weather and the sun certainly shone in Harrogate on this day. Carly spent the morning getting ready with her bridesmaids and Mike did the same before relaxing downstairs with his bestmen and ushers. I absolutely love days like this, there is so much activity and being able to walk between one room and the next gives you a great perspective. Watching the Chuppah take shape and the venue being dressed is so exciting and builds anticipation for everyone involved. Carley & Mike had planned this wedding meticulously and it showed. They also have to be one of the nicest couples we have worked with, they both had such a relaxed attitude and just took the whole day in their stride, enjoying every second of it.

Its Party Time!!

I have to say the Israeli Dancing is one of my favourite moments. It can get a bit hectic sometimes and having shot lots of Israeli dancing there doesn’t seem to be any way to predict how its going to go. Suffice to say the best option is to get in amongst the action, there are always a few knocks but getting these angles and covering everything that happens is so important. After Carly & Mike entered there was about 20 minutes of lively music and dance followed by the calm of the speeches. The rest of the evening just flowed by and the band did a great job in helping everyone enjoy the nights celebration. Really loved putting this edit together and look forward to the feature.
